The individual reviews study records to determine that a study is being conducted in accordance with the protocol and works with the clinical research coordinator to check all data and documentation from the study.
Scientific Name definition: The name applied to a plant, animal, or other organism, according to the Codes of Nomenclature, consisting of a Genus and species.
Scientific Control definition: Methodology that tests integrity in experiments by isolating variables as dictated by the scientific method in order to make a conclusion about such variables. In a controlled experiment, two virtually identical experiments are conducted, but the factor being tested is varied in only one of them. This serves to isolate any causal phenomena.
