Potassium Channels, Tandem Pore Domain definition: Potassium channels that contain two pores in tandem. They are responsible for baseline or leak currents and may be the most numerous of all K channels.
Baseline definition: A starting point to which things may be compared.
Baseline Dyspnea Index definition: A clinically derived index of the severity of patient dyspnea based on functional impairment, magnitude of tasks that result in dyspnea, and the degree of effort that produces dyspnea. (Mahler 1988)
Baseline Removal Method definition: A method which relies on identifying invariant sets of features across arrays, and using these to perform normalization.
Mean Baseline Removal Method definition: Method for identifying invariant set normalization baseline using mean expression values. Defined in the documents available at http://bioconductor.org/packages/1.9/bioc/html/affy.html.
Median Baseline Removal Method definition: Method for identifying invariant set normalization baseline using median expression values. Defined in the documents available at http://bioconductor.org/packages/1.9/bioc/html/affy.html.
Pseudo Mean Baseline Removal Method definition: Method for identifying invariant set normalization baseline using psuedo mean expression values. Defined in the documents available at http://bioconductor.org/packages/1.9/bioc/html/affy.html.
Pseudo Median Baseline Removal Method definition: Method for identifying invariant set normalization baseline using psuedo median expression values. Defined in the documents available at http://bioconductor.org/packages/1.9/bioc/html/affy.html.
